High color reproduction of achromatic polarizing film that improves the phenomenon of appearing yellow-green at parallel orientation seen in conventional polarizers, achieving paper white color at parallel orientation.

Achromatic polarizing film (polarizer) suppresses the hue changes seen in conventional polarizing films. In conventional polarizers, white display at parallel position could appear yellow-green, and black could take on a blue tint. 'MUSAISYOKU' is a polarizing film that maintains a constant transmittance for each wavelength at both parallel and perpendicular positions. As a result, it achieves true neutral gray, providing paper white color for white displays and clear black for black displays. It is a dye-based polarizer that can achieve high color reproduction even in reflective LCDs and semi-transparent LCDs.
